The Creative Curriculum

Ian provides workshop days designed to inspire and equip schools to meet the challenge of the new Creative Curriculum.  Visit the links on the left for details of an exciting Creativity Day or find out about teacher workshops to bring creative teaching and learning to your school.

 

Ian MacDonald is the author of several teacher resource books including In Ancient Egypt and Children in Wartime, two complete cross-curricula resource books for primary schools. As a deputy head in a large primary school Ian was a dynamic exponent of creative teaching and curriculum innovation.

Creativity Day

This classroom workshop day will provide a launch pad for the creative curriculum in your school.  Working in one or two year groups, Ian shows how theme based learning can produce excitng and creative work in the classroom.  An ideal way to begin the process of developing a more creative curriculum in your school.

   

 

Extending Writing

Authopr of Inspiring Boys to Write in Primary School (in production now) Ian covers the whole spectrum of narrative and non-narrative writing in this speciall writing workshop for teachers.  With ideas too for cross-curricula writing in The Creative Curriculum here is a course designed to place writing at the forefront of your school development programme.  (full/half day or twilight sessions available). 
With this course comes a free copy of Children in Wartime.

 

Drama Workshops
