Ian MacDonald
  
Ian MacDonald had his first book Mrs Wrelton's Dinosaur published in 2003.  It's launch featured on BBC TV and Radio. His title Alien Teeth is recommended by The School Library Association's Books into Boys scheme.  He has written nearly twenty books for schools, including easy-to-read paperbacks for reluctant readers (boys) along with several teacher's resource books. 
Biography
Ian left school at 17 and worked in the printing industry before training for teaching.  After teaching in three counties he settled with his family in Kent, becoming deputy- headteacher in a large primary school where he began writing.
NOW... he spends much of his time visiting schools, inspiring young writers in the classroom.
